OUR STORY

We are a family-owned and operated cattle ranch based in northern Osage County, Oklahoma. Open Range Angus began in 2014, although we've been involved in beef production for over 25 years. When we purchased our herd we were still living on and managing an OSU research cattle ranch and commuting to the Flint Hills to work cattle and feed during the winter months. A year later we set off on our own. We moved to northern Osage County and haven't looked back.

In 2015 we started a land management business, Open Range Management, utilizing our degrees in Rangeland and Wildlife Management. Our business provides land management services and consulting for landowners to help manage their grazing, forage, wildlife habitat, and controlled burning. For years we were involved on the professional side of rangeland management and we were ready to start really helping people, really making a difference, reclaiming land, saving landowners money- positively impacting as many acres possible. Through the years we've served on the board of directors for multiple land management  organizations and received a few awards along the way. We're most proud of the state Excellence in Rangeland Management award we received a few years ago.
