Accurately named cloud burgers because they taste like heaven. If you're a fan of rich flavor profiles, this burger is for you. A truffle aioli topped with caramelized onions and a grilled but send this burger over the top.
- Dry-aged ground beef
- Brioche buns
- 1/2 C. Dukes mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp. truffle powder or 1/4 tsp. truffle oil
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Kosher salt & fresh cracked pepper
- 1 sweet onion
Make ground beef into nice-sized patties, make the inside of the patties thinner to end up with an even cooked product. Grill to your liking. While the steaks are cooking slice the onion into thin slices and sauté in a skillet in olive oil and a pinch of kosher salt until caramelized. Smear a thin layer of mayonnaise on each bun and grill until crispy. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, truffle powder or oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Once the burgers are finished, place on the bottom bun and add a heaping scoop of truffle aioli on top with a large spoonful of caramelized onions.
